Do NOT annoy your relatives! Don't be the person who pitches opportunities during the holiday family get-together. Be the person that says: "You know, now is not the time, give me your number and I'll get back to you". Schedule the apointment for after the holidays, schedule the apointment for lunch or coffee or something for after the holiday get-together. You just don't want to be that person who "over does it" with your passion. A family function should be the time to get together, time to reconnect with one another, a time to meet people, a time to enjoy your family and friends. Get contacts? YES! Add people to your list? YES! Schedule appointment for another time? YES! Just don't be the one pitching INSIDE the get-together. You'll find that people respect you more, you will get better results. It's professional.
